  • My landlord entered us into a lease with the knowledge that the home was INFESTED with termites. The neighbor pointed them out and told us he informed her before our occupancy. We immediately verbally requested she send a professional not only to inspect the safety of the homes structure, but to treat the problem. She ignored our request.   • Three years ago, I put myself on child support because the mother of my child would not allow me to see our daughter. As part of the court order, the mother of my child claims our daughter on taxes for all even years while I claim our daughter for all odd years. Earlier this year, when I went to file my 2013 taxes, I was advised that someone had already claimed my daughter's social security number. What are my next best steps? And no, I have not yet filed my 2013 taxes and she has admitted to this crime. Can I take her to court? Should I file anyway and let the IRS catch her?

Is it possible to relinquish my parental rights to the father (who is older and stable) once the baby is born if all parties are in agreement? 2). If a close family friend and her husband want to adopt the baby, can I and the father relinquish rights to them if we all are in agreement?   • I have $250,000 invested in a 1150 sq ft home and lot in a Surprise HOA, built with permits from the City. With that permit, my contractor built an 850 sq ft addition (story & a half) to a park model, wrapping all in stucco. Now realtors tell me they cannot put my property in the "residence" section of MLS but must list it under LAND/LOTS. How will out of state buyers find my home in a realtor.com or mls or zillow search? What was the legislature thinking when they dictated this? Thank you for any information you can provide.
  • Hello, my Mom remarried and passed away within 4 years. She had written a holographic will, that was notorized, and verified as her handwriting. She had notated that when/if the house was sold, it would be split amongst her children. She had also mentioned a life insurance policy in her will. This will was shown to all children and spouse. Before passing, Mom learned her life insurance was canceled. Questions: Even though life insurance is no longer available, but mentioned in will, is the will still valid? Also, does the Widow recieve portion of funds from house sale when not designated?
